Our product portfolio consists of electrical and fiber optical products for subsea use. We can support you with products varying from Topside test leads and boxes, to complex 3-barrier subsea canisters for communication, control, and monitoring.
Common for our products, is the field proven design philosophy of double barriers to seawater. For critical components or electronics assembled in 1ATM chambers, there are options for third barrier design available.

Benefits of the design we like to think is the selection of what processes to do in-house vs on site. With the philosophy of assemble, test, inspect and protect critical and fragile sub-assemblies in controlled environment in-house, and limit critical termination work and assembly at site, we can provide products ready for subsea installation within your expectations.
The products are delivered with full documentation and traceability to certificates and records. Pre production documents like drawings, procedures, test plans and design verification reports are sent for customers approval before start of production. During commissioning you will receive site reports as agreed, and when the work is done, an updated documentation package including in-house and site work, traceability and test results.

We design and build custom designed Cable End Modules for your needs; with different variants and interfaces. Elfo Subsea co-operates closely with suppliers of subsea equipment to bring you high-quality products.
The CEM can be configured to interface both electrical and optical umbilical cables and jumpers. We use high-quality materials and components for the whole product range. Common in the product range is modularity in design and lean thinking within production and commissioning.

What is the benefit of this design? Quite simple – the multiple functions the product serves. Its main function is distributing power and communication from the umbilical on the seabed. The product can also be pre-installed with jumpers and connectors at the factory. This limits logistics and operation during commissioning and subsea installation.
You get full documentation and traceability to certificates and test records with the product’s delivery. We cooperate closely with you as our customer, and send you all pre-production documents like:

- Procedures
- Test plans
- Design verification reports.
